Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, Film, Movie, Review, The Flawed GuruIt’s been a while since I’ve watched a Dragon Ball Z episode, and I’ve never seen one of the many movies they have put out over the years, but that doesn’t mean I’m still not a big fan. Though, like I said, I’ve also put it into the back of my mind over the years, and it wasn’t until recently when I saw a movie was coming out that I started to look into the universe of Dragon Ball Z again. This lead me to tablet and Smartphone games that are based on the world, which I’m currently obsessed with and play a lot, but it also made me really want to see the film that just so happened to be playing at the cinema.

So with my girlfriend in tow, but to be fair she was keen to see it as well, we joined the other 80 or so people who came along for the screening, and sat down for the most latest story about these eternally cool characters. It had everything you come to expect from Dragon Ball Z, cheesy dialogue, funny moments that are both intentional and non-intentional, cool action, nostalgic fuzzy feelings, and most importantly levelling up and new ‘final’ forms.

The story itself was good, not great, but as with this series it’s the whole universe that makes up how cool it is, rather than individual parts. It was cool seeing Freeza back in a new form, and I hadn’t seen Goku or Vegeta in their new God forms, so that was cool as well. Also as I had been out of the series for a while, it was cool seeing all the other characters that are now part of the expanded world. All up it was a really enjoyable time to see Dragon Ball Z on the big screen, but of course this isn’t for everyone, but if you’re a fan then check it out!

8 out of 10 from me!!!
