Reno 911: Season 3

Reno 911, Season 3, TV, Review, The Flawed GuruHaving seen the first two seasons of Reno 911! you could be justified in saying that it’s all very similar from episode to episode and asking where could they go in future seasons? However, that didn’t stop the first two seasons from being really solid, with strong characters and even little story arch’s you could follow the characters with through the season.

Though it is pretty much the same thing over and over again, and even being a fan of the show myself, I wondered how they could keep moving forward in the series. Like any sitcom where the characters don’t really progress over the seasons, one thing is to add new people to the show so that it’s the same thing again but with a new voice to add something extra to the mix.

With the third season of ‘Reno 911!’ they aren’t any different, with an eighth member being added to the cast to try and keep things fresh. Even though actions taken by the characters in the show very rarely affect them over future episodes, or seasons, what I really like about the show is when they do throw in stuff that changes them or storylines that are brought back.

This season’s first two episodes followed on from the last episode of season two, and a few characters from season one and two have come back to continue their stories. I must say I would like to see more of this, and with three more seasons to watch, season four-six, it’s really hard to know how they will keep it feeling fresh and fun to watch. However, as I said about the first two seasons, it hasn’t stopped this season from also being a really good one.

8.5 out of 10 from me!!!
