I’ve been on a bit of an ‘outer space’ buzz recently, checking out a few shows and DVD’s on the subject, and it really is amazing how much people have worked out about the universe around us, or at the very least what they ‘think’ is going on around us.
One of the recent shows I’ve recently seen was the four-part Stephen Hawking series, which was a great insight, but it was all from his mind alone, so when I saw this DVD up for review I thought I would check it out.
Through The Worm Hole is an eight-part series and it said it looked at many different opinions and views, which is always nice to know you’re going to get a broad-spectrum of ideas. With that in mind I sat down to view the series hoping it wouldn’t just be more of the same of what I had recently watched.
Freeman was just perfect for the narrator of the show and brought so much ‘coolness’ to what can be seen as a boring subject, though, in my eyes, there was nothing boring about what was being shown on screen.
Although it did touch on things I had been recently looking into, it also opened up a whole other world of ideas and concepts I had no idea about. This was a brilliant show and I would easily recommend it to anyone who has even a slight interest in what is ‘out there’ in the universe and the question of ‘how did it all begin?’.
9 out of 10 from me!!!
